About the Song

Barney sings a heartfelt song about his father who recently passed away, and at the same manages to offer some inspiration up to us all about what songwriting and singing is all about.

About the Songwriter

Growing up in a home filled with music, Barney's first experience as a performer came when he began to accompany his little brother Danny Fritz at music competitions. With a love for all genres of music, he was able to again become actively involved as a performer after moving back to The States upon completion of his service as a Naval Doctor stationed in Japan. He wrote his first song for Songpull, which has since become a favorite with fellow pullers. His wife Tracy and their three children now regularly open their home to encourage fellow pullers to keep writing, and continues to inspire friends and family alike with each new song he performs.
